Apprciation and Reflection

Firstly,I would like to thank my English teacher, Pn. Ng for helping to complete my folio. Without her guidance, I would never had completed this folio. Next, I would like to thank my parents for helping me to complete this folio. Lastly, I would like to thank my friends who helped me in this folio.

Before this folio, I did not understand what is the meaning of 'conflict'. After this folio, I begin to understand more about it.

What is a conflict and 3 ways to cool down

What is a conflict?
Conflicts can happen to anyone, even friends! But how we handle them makes a big difference. Sometimes when we are mad, we may say and do things we don't mean. We might really regret it later.

Name 3 ways to cool down.
1. Take a walk
2. Listen to music
3. Read a book

My third week of January

Hi! This is my blog on my third week of January! Wow it is almost the end of January !! Time flies so fast when you are having so much fun!!

Now, on my days at school, I had tons and tons of homework!! Anyways, I got to complete them. Yay!! Well, one of my best friends, Celynn, she was very tired doing her homework as she is a prefect and on this Wednesday she had to stay back until 5.30!! Tiring isn't it?

Now for my weekends!! This Saturday, I went to Adam Khoo again, of course! We learnt the same stuffs and we had to do 60 ups and downs which you have to use your two hands and hold your ears and go up and down! It was very tiring actually! Everyone was sweating when we finished 25. Luckily our trainer minus off 20 which left us with 40 ups and downs. After Adam Khoo, my father brought us to KLCC for shopping. When we reached there, we went to this restaurant called Chili's. We wanted to eat at that place for dinner. But unfortunately there was this long queue which we had to wait for an hour to get in that place. So, my father booked a place and we went to shop first. We looked at many places and my mom looked in many clothes shops. After an hour, we went back to Chili's and we went in to the restaurant. There were many varities of food. I got very hungry when I looked at the menu. There were so many mouth-watering food that I could not choose a dish. In the end, I chose this sandwich dish. When it came, I didn't expect it to be in such a big portion!! It was enough to feed my siblings. The dish had 4 BIG sandwiches with a little tomato and lettuce. It had 3 pieces of bread in one whole sandwiche. There was also ham and bacon. In the middle of this four pieces of bread, there was a HUGE amount of french fries. Wow !! It was very big dish!! My second sister ordered macaroni and cheese which was quite delicious. My third sister ordered a hamburger with fries while my mom ordered this salad or something like that. My mom's dish had this three round piece of bread or something. You had to put fillings in this piece of bread and fold it and eat it. I am not very sure what it is called. My father's dish was beef. It was very good!! It was the best beef I have ever tasted in my life except the part where I ate a Japanese restaurant which sells beef too besides sushi. I managed to eat three big pieces of the ENORMOUS sandwiches and half of my fries. I was very FULL!

Well, that was the end of my Saturday!! Now let's get to my Sunday! Well me and my sister WAS suppose to wake up at 7.30 or 7.45 in the morning. Unfortunately, my sister was unable to get up after the tiring day we had yesterday. So, my dad sent me and my grandmother to church for my Sunday School and my grandmother's Chinese Section. After my grandmother went home with the help of a transporter, I had to wait for my parents to go to the English Section. While waiting for them, I did my homework that I had brought along with me. Finally after doing two books of my homework, my parents with my sisters came!! When we went up there, I was feeling extremely sick!! My throat was very pain. In the morning, I had difficulty trying to wake up because of my throat. Everytime I breathe my throat and sometimes my heart hurt. After singing some songs, it was time for the pastor to bring out the speech of the day he was going to make. Whenever this time comes all 10 year olds and below had to go down for station time. This is the time where they get to sing songs, play games and do art and crafts. For the toddlers from 0-3 year olds, they are staying at this room at the back of the hall. My mom is one of the teacher or helpers there. Today, my mom was going to bring out the lesson. I was suppose to help my mom but I had to sit and watch as I am having a little fever and could not talk so well. So while the lesson went on, I continued my homework there. Luckily the toddlers were entertained by the story my mom was reading to them. The last time when it was my mom's turn, when it was playing time, I got dragged here and there by the toddlers while the adults were talking. First I got dragged by my little sister. Then I was dragged by the twins and so on. But this time, I was saved!! When it was snack time, I did a rather silly mistake. Without thinking, I reached my hand into a packet of biscuits and started munching on them!! That made my soar throat even worse!! Then my mom made me drink a bottle of water! After that, the english service was over!! Then my father brought us to Pavillion for shopping again!! Luckily I finished all my homework!! When we reached there, the first thing we do was we headed to the food court. Since I was not in the mood to eat anything in large portions, I decided to order some sushi. I went to the shop and ordered a california roll, a packet of crabmeat sushi and a cucumber sushi. When waiting for the sushi, I went to see a man making sushi or dough at the corner of the shop. It was very interesting to see him making it like that. Suddenly my cousin, Lee Hans, appeared from no where and asked me why am I doing here. Suddenly my other cousin, Cheryl, came from behind the crowd with her parents and her little brother, Ivan. Actually, Lee Hans was going with his mother while his sister went to choir or something. I was very excited to see Cheryl, Ivan and Lee Hans because it has been a long time since I saw them like last December. After being seperated from shopping and eating, my family went shopping for Chinese New Year. My mom bought both my sisters lots of dresses!!! I only bought two T-shirts and a pair of pants. My mom says that she will definitely buy for me the next week eventhough I refuse too.

Well that's all I think!! Wow!! This blog is very long!! Bye!!

~ My first week of school ~

Hi again! Now let's talk about my first week of school. My first, second and third days at school was quite good actually. I was very exited and suprised that I was going to 6 Bestari this year with my friends joining me. This three days were fun and I enjoyed it a lot. I got to sit with Shu-zen and Lam Wei Fang. I also got to sit nearer with my friends. Yay!!! On this days, our teachers gave us a little homework. But on the fourth and fifth day we were given lots of homework. I had to suffer by doing a pile or two of homework. It was really suffering I can tell you because I have never been given so much homework in my life. Well that was my first week of school. Now let's go to my weekends. Saturdays were always relaxing for me but this Saturday was a horrible one! I had to continue my pile of homework before I can continue my usual relaxing day! And I had to miss my first Adam Khoo's coaches'class. Me and my parents forgot about it!Oops! So I can only go to this class on Sunday afternoon!! The next day, my family had to go to church. But my parents decided that we should try going to the Chinese session this time. Me and my sisters were so tired that we could not wake up when our father tried and wake us up!! So, in the end my parents went to church while we were at home with our maid and our grandfather!! We got to sleep peacefully until 10.30 in the morning. Then I had to get ready for my coaches' class with my big Adam Khoo's folder that was given to me at the Super Kids class. On the way there, a policeman stopped my mom's car because the policeman siad that she was driving above the limit. Luckily the policeman gave my mom a second chance and my mother felt relieved. At the coaches' class I had lots of fun with my friends there. I had learnt so many things there that my trainer said he had to give us two homework to do!!! Well I think that's all. Bye!
